My integrative-humanistic approach to the supervisory relationship reflects my practice as a humanistic counsellor, sessions are led by the supervisee's agenda. I work collaboratively with supervisee’s in order to facilitate in-depth reflection on practice and work within the BACP ethical framework for good practice for counselling and psychotherapy, with a strong focus on client welfare.
I have a keen interest in the Gilbert & Evans Relational Model and Hawkins & Shohet Model as I am drawn to the ‘unspoken’ element of the relationship between client and counsellor, I also work with metaphor and creativity.
