My Philosophy

Life has a tendency to throw things at us from time to time.  Had I ruminated on some of my life experiences as a child and an adult, I would have allowed them to hold me back.

I realise I cannot change the past therefore; I choose to accept what has happened, learn from each situation and move on.  Each life experience for me has provided an opportunity, a time to re-evaluate and change direction.

I believe in life we travel along a road which is sometimes even, sometimes bumpy and every so often we come to a junction where we can choose which way to turn.  It may not always be the right choice, but sooner or later we will arrive at another junction and again have a choice which way to turn.

Each choice, opportunity, time to re-evaluate, change in direction and junction have been turning points in my life, and so the name Turning Point Counselling evolved.
